Both Lance Nicol and Den Harkin are active membes of the YAKOVLEVS DISPLAY TEAM
In the above photo are Lance Nicol and Den Harkin preparing for their next entry.
The team was formed in December 1999 and flew a successful first airshow season in 2000. The Yakovlevs are the UK's premier four-ship formation aerobatic team, flying four powerful Russian Yak-50Unlimited Aerobatic and Yak-52 Aerobatic training machines.
The Yakovlevs display programme demonstrates precision flying at its best as well as the unique capabilities of the high performance Yakovlev aerobatics aircraft. It involves close formation manoeuvres and graceful aerobatics.
This single DVD features the Enjoy Yak 50 and 52 in close formation. Later in the video, Lance takes us for a solo ride and shows us the limits of the queen of the skies.
